Even though we went to Portland for our anniversary I couldn’t help but want to do something simple on our actual day. Since it falls on the most overpriced day of the month we thought let’s do something cheap and fun.
That did not happen…well at least not on my end. I love my boyfriend so much that sometimes I can’t help but want to spoil him. So I made a reservation to my baby’s favorite restaurant, Fogo De Chao. It is an all you can eat Brazilian BBQ place that has high quality meat.
After that we went home and changed for the next thing on our agenda. My boyfriend took me to one of his secret locations in P.V. (Palos Verdes). We hike down this steep mountain and managed to get to this fire pit that outlook the ocean. After almost freaking out twice getting there, I will say that the beautiful view was worth it.
My boyfriend got the fire going and I got our marshmallows ready. It was a perfect way to end our hike.
I ended the night by surprising my boyfriend with his present. I got him some Valentine day candy, Star Wars magazine and this photo I made of us.
It’s pretty crazy looking back at how we met and how instantly we connected. I was taken by surprised of how much happiness he has brought into my life. Sometimes I find myself at aww of how my life is now and how I couldn’t imagine it without him.
